A Plot Passport tells you all you need to know about your plot

In essence, this gives you the information you need to decide whether a plot will suit your needs.

The plot passport details the parameters for the plot set by the planning permission and the design guide.

On a larger site with multiple plots, the plot passport will vary for each one with different house types and styles. This means that there is plenty of choice and flexibility available.

For example, the plot passport will establish where within the plot the house can be situated, distances from boundaries etc, how high the property can be, eaves heights, rooflines, floor area etc. It will also include details of acceptable finishes and materials that can be used on the external elevations. It will also detail what utilities are available.

Normally, we would also include examples of the types and style of home that could be built onto each plot, so if you are looking for inspiration the plot passports can be a great place to start.
